Athletic Department

At Saint Francis School, athletics and physical education are fundamental to our commitment to educating the whole student, mind, body, and spirit. Recognized as one of the top athletic programs in Puerto Rico, our department provides opportunities for students to develop discipline, teamwork, leadership, and sportsmanship, preparing them for success both on and off the field.

Physical Education plays a central role in our curriculum and is a required course for all grade levels. From early childhood through high school, students participate in age-appropriate activities that build physical fitness, promote wellness, and instill lifelong healthy habits. By ensuring that every student is actively engaged in physical education, we affirm our belief that movement, exercise, and sports are essential to academic achievement, mental health, and overall well-being.

Our athletes consistently excel in local and island-wide competitions, earning championships and distinctions across multiple sports. With highly qualified coaches, comprehensive training programs, and a strong tradition of Puma Pride, Saint Francis students are encouraged to push their limits, achieve their personal best, and represent our school with honor.

Through athletics and physical education, our students not only strengthen their bodies but also develop resilience, perseverance, and character. At Saint Francis School, we are proud to cultivate athletes and leaders who embody the values of hard work, dedication, and community spirit.

Our school proudly competes as a member of the Puerto Rico High School Athletic Alliance and the Mini Athletic League of Private Schools, Inc. Over the years, our student-athletes have achieved remarkable success, earning national championships in multiple sports, including volleyball, basketball, cross-country, and bowling. We take pride in fostering teamwork, discipline, and school spirit through excellence in athletics.
