Middle and High School Curriculum Goals

Our Middle and High School College Preparatory Program is designed to empower students with the knowledge, skills, and mindset necessary for success in higher education and in life. The curriculum emphasizes academic rigor, personal responsibility, and intellectual curiosity, while also fostering leadership, character development, and a strong commitment to service.

Students engage in a challenging course of study that includes core subjects: English, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, and World Languages, alongside electives in the arts, technology, and other specialized fields. College readiness is strengthened through the development of critical thinking, research, writing, and problem-solving skills, as well as opportunities for advanced coursework, dual enrollment, and honors or AP-level classes.

Beyond academics, our program integrates 21st-century skills such as collaboration, creativity, digital literacy, global awareness, and effective communication. Students are encouraged to take ownership of their learning, set personal goals, and build resilience. Equally important, they are guided to develop as leaders through opportunities in student government, clubs, athletics, and service-learning projects that promote teamwork, responsibility, and civic engagement.

At Saint Francis School, we believe education extends beyond the classroom. Our students actively participate in community service initiatives, service-learning experiences, and outreach programs, fostering empathy and a sense of social responsibility. By combining academic excellence with leadership development and community involvement, our College Preparatory program ensures that graduates leave with confidence, purpose, and the foundation to thrive in college, career, and as compassionate global citizens.
